Reports of number portability in Q4 2021 and throughout 2021

Over 370,000 numbers were transferred in mobile networks in Q4 2021, and over 117,000 numbers were transferred in fixed-line networks, according to the latest number portability reports released by the UKE President. Over 1,420,000 mobile numbers and over 386,000 fixed-line numbers were transferred throughout 2021.
The reports present statistics on number portability using the Localization and Information Platform system with the Central Database (PLI CBD) managed by UKE President.
In Q4 2021, a total of 371,657 numbers were transferred in mobile networks. This is noticeably higher than in Q3 2021, when 332,902 numbers were transferred .
Among the largest mobile operators, the balance of three closed on a negative note in the last quarter. As a result of number portability Orange Polska lost less than 500 SIM card users, Polkomtel (Plus network operator) lost more than 28,000, while P4 (Play network operator) lost more than 17,000 customers. T-Mobile was the only operator to end the fourth quarter with a positive balance, gaining almost 15 thousand new users.
In fixed-line networks, a total of 117,073 numbers were transferred in Q4 2021, much more (over 50 thousand) than in the previous quarter, when the number was 66,266.
The closing of Q4 also allowed us to prepare annual summaries. A total of 1,420,570 mobile numbers and 386,572 fixed numbers were transferred in 2021. Among the four largest mobile network operators, Orange Polska had the best balance, gaining a total of 29,938 customers. T-Mobile also closed the previous year on a positive note, with 17,840 new customers. Polkomtel suffered a loss - 52,638 customers outflow and P4 - 133,454 numbers were transferred from its network.
