Supervision
Supervision of compliance with the provisions of the Act on ensuring compliance with accessibility requirements for certain products and services by economic operators is carried out by:
- The President of the Management Board of PFRON - monitors the functioning of the market surveillance system.
- Market surveillance authorities, including:
- President of the Office of Electronic Communications - supervises all products covered by the Act, as well as telecommunications services, audiovisual media services, and e-book distribution services.
- provincial road transport inspectors - supervise digital services in bus and coach passenger transport,
- President of the Office of Rail Transport - supervises digital services in rail transport,
- President of the Civil Aviation Authority - supervises digital services in air transport,
- directors of maritime offices (in Gdynia and Szczecin) - supervise digital services in maritime transport,
- Director of the Inland Navigation Office in Bydgoszcz - supervises digital services in inland water transport,
- Financial Ombudsman - supervises retail banking services,
- Minister responsible for computerization (currently the Minister of Digital Affairs) - supervises e-commerce services,
- Customs authorities - monitor the accessibility of products to be placed on the market
