Dominik Kołtunowicz becomes Director of UKE’s Department of Monitoring

From 1 April, Dominik Kołtunowicz, Deputy Director to date, takes over as Director of Department of Monitoring.

Dominik Kołtunowicz graduated from Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Szczecin. His career started in the Ministry of the Interior and Administration in 2000. In 2004 he was transferred to the Office of Telecommunications and Post Regulation (URTiP) to work as a senior specialist at the Market Surveillance Unit of the Department of Technology and Monitoring.

Since 2004 Dominik has been working continuously for the regulatory agency consecutively as: leader of the Market Surveillance Unit in URTiP’s Central Technical Test Laboratory, head of Market  Surveillance Unit of the URTiP’s Department of Technology and  Monitoring, Head of Market Surveillance Unit of the UKE’s Department of Monitoring, and since 2016 as Deputy Director of UKE’s Department of Monitoring.

Main tasks of the new Director will comprise coordination of inspection proceedings in telecommunications, monitoring the quality of internet access and verification of compliance of electrical and electronic products placed on the market.
