Eastern Partnership meeting on the DSA
10 October 2025
The Office of Electronic Communications (UKE) hosted an Eastern Partnership meeting on new European regulations concerning the functioning of online platforms.
Experts from the UKE's Digital Services Department presented the structure of the new European system for supervising online platforms and the role of the UKE in the new ecosystem for supervising digital services. The topics discussed included procedures for responding to illegal content, cross-border cooperation, data exchange between authorities, and the importance of educating users and businesses in the new legal environment.
Representatives of the Eastern Partnership countries learned about Poland's experience in creating institutional structures responsible for the application of the Digital Services Act and about the planned directions for further action in this area.
The new law is one of the pillars of the European Digital Strategy and is intended to provide a consistent, responsible framework for the functioning of platforms across the EU.
