President of UKE attends the BEREC-GSMA Roundtable

During the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona (GSMA MWC), President of UKE Przemysław Kuna participated in the BEREC-GSMA Roundtable. This year's meeting focused on the new regulatory framework for electronic communications as proposed in the Digital Networks Act in January 2026. The publication of this document provided an opportunity to reflect on how the EU intends to address longstanding questions around regulatory parity, regulatory simplification, the open internet, the role of voluntary conciliation in managing interconnection disputes, and the future organisation of spectrum. The discussion addressed key aspects of the proposed new European regulatory framework and its potential implications for the connectivity ecosystem. Participants included heads of European national regulatory authorities, senior policy and regulatory officers from GSMA membership, and CEOs of European mobile operators.
