These activities are in line with the recently announced new Strategy of UKE for 2026 – 2030.
Furthermore, during a high-level event organised by UKE on 6 July, discussions were held with Ms. Doreen Bogdan-Martin, Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), and Mr. Guy Ryder, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN). These discussions focused, amongst other things, on further international cooperation in the field of digital services and electronic communications within the UN framework, as well as UKE’s involvement in projects and initiatives under the auspices of the ITU.
During the discussions, the importance of proper development of artificial intelligence (AI) and its impact on digital transformation and social development were also emphasized.
