Ban on broadcasts by NTV/NTV Mir, Rossiya 1, REN TV, Pervyi Kanal

The ban obliges service providers to block access to information disseminated by NTV/NTV Mir, Rossiya 1, REN TV, Pervyi Kanal

Further to the announcement: https://uke.gov.pl/akt/zakaz-nadawania-programow-russia-today-i-sputnik,416.html (in Polish), we would like to inform you that Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/180 of 27 January 2023 implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/2474 amending Regulation (EU) No 833/2014 concerning restrictive measures in view of Russia's destabilising actions in Ukraine was published on 30 January 2023.

In accordance with the provisions of the aforementioned Regulation, the following entities have been added to the list of entities to which a ban on the broadcasting or distribution of any content has been imposed:

NTV/NTV

Mir Rossiya 1

REN TV

Pervyi Kanal

 

The ban obliges service providers to block access to information distributed by these entities and covers the distribution of content by any means, such as cable TV, satellite TV, Internet TV, online platforms or video-sharing applications, whether new or pre-installed.
